The diameter of the support roller body is 2.4 meters, the total length is 11.5 meters, and the net weight is as high as 253 tons. It is understood that the forged 5.5-meter finishing backup roller will be used in the 5.5-meter finishing unit of Zhoukou Iron and Steel's ultra-wide heavy plate rolling mill, which is known as the latest generation of "king of the world rolling mill". In order to manufacture this huge support roller, China First Heavy Industry has adopted 400-ton double vacuum steel ingots for production, ensuring the high quality and stability of the support roller.
